There are 357 uncompleted and 279 completed so far. A completed monster is one with a 64x64 pixel front sprite, a 64x64 pixel back sprite, and a two-frame animated 24x24 pixel face sprite - i.e., the requirements for appearing in the Tuxemon game.
Tuxemon's monsters come from a variety of different projects and contributors.
