The Cathedral is the monolithic company, or set of companies, that runs everything. It's not evil, and its employees are rightly proud of what they accomplish, but it is misguided and authoritarian. The Protagonist frequently runs into petty bureaucracy, anti-customer secrecy or the commercialisation of services.

Cathedral was founded by Mr Cathedral and began operation of its first centers / clinics almost a century ago. Initially it was structured in the form of a co-operative federation, but the model changed. The first phase was the creation of a subsidiary called Greenwash. Greenwash was originally a center/clinic who became highly specialized in the genetic field. The rate of growth were skyrocketing and it was necessary to put this clinic under control to avoid gaining too much power. This is the first pillar. It followed the acquisition of Scoop, the second pillar. Third pillar is Nimrod to which followed months later the fourth one, Shaft. The "youngest" pillar is Omnichannel, which is the only internet provider in Fondent.

Each of the five pillars is a different business, responsible for a different set of tuxemon, which it sells (in locked form).
