Psilopignon, the Mindbloom tuxemon, is a Wood-type monster.

Psilopignon resembles a bioluminescent mushroom with a gently pulsing cap. It emits shimmering clouds of psychoactive spores that ripple like heatwaves. Inhaling them may trigger hallucinations, temporary telepathy, or a sense of cosmic déjà vu. It moves slowly, often appearing in moonlit clearings or cave mouths, humming softly in frequencies just beyond human hearing.

Its spores don't just cause hallucinations—they sometimes overwrite memories. Victims have recalled childhoods they never lived or spoken fluently in languages they don't know. One researcher claimed it made him remember the future.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

Name Origin: Psilo + Pignon

- Psilo-: From "Psilocybe", referencing psychoactive mushrooms; Greek "psilos" means "bare" or "smooth"

- -pignon: A twist on "champignon" (French for "mushroom"), giving it a fungal, slightly culinary vibe.
