In a different story, the protagonist could find a shadow world where the tuxemon are people and the people are tuxemon. Some have already been sprited.
Variants
It would be possible to have different variants of a single tuxemon, with different appearances. Two that were created as an experiment can be found on the wiki.
Variants could come in the following arrangements (with examples from Pokemon):
- A purely cosmetic difference, that's fixed. For example, there are lots of different Unown forms, but each Unown has only one form.
- A purely cosmetic difference, that can change. For example, Deerling and Sawsbuck change form with the season.
- A mechanical difference that's fixed. For example, Pumpkaboo have different stats depending on their size, but they never change size.
- A mechanical difference that can change. For example, Meloetta changes form - and type - when it uses a particular move.
