This is the tuxemon disease in the draft plot of The Spyder in the Cathedral. It is a type of Condition.

12.5% of turns, an infected tuxemon Sneezes instead of taking its action. Whichever tuxemon it is fighting becomes infected.

The tuxemon of Enforcers and Bosses are immune to Spyder Bite (this is not announced by the game, but it just does not infect them). This is because Spyder Bite is an invention of Greenwash (or Scoop?), and as part of their plan they immunised whoever is in on it.

Perhaps infected tuxemon could affect you - they could be forbidden from being boxed, or required to be boxed, or confiscated when you try to heal at a medical centre, or something like that.
