The old Hydro-Plant is a massive concrete structure originally built to harness mountain runoff. However, it has been secretly repurposed by the Cathedral as the prototype facility for Project Eclipse. Critically, this plant remains hyper-functional, providing the necessary electricity to half of the entire Fondent Region. Heavily secured by the Nimrod division, the site serves as a testing ground and a secret logistics hub, linking the remote mountain region to the greater Cathedral infrastructure. The atmosphere is one of cold efficiency, where the humming dynamos mask the disturbing nature of the experiments taking place under intense security.

Events[edit | edit source]

Event 1:

  • Cold Voice: Your heartbeat is logged, Argon. Your thermal signature is tracked. You are not a guest here; you are an anomaly. Nimrod has you in its sight.
  • Voice of Judgment: This is power, Argon. Efficient. Unsentimental. The result of true focus. Your old ideals are just noise in the machine room.
  • Unknown Voice: The water here isn't just for power. It cools the containment units. It hides the noise of the experiments. They are remaking life under this roof.
  • Voice of Revelation: Aurora was here. She saw the core design of Project Eclipse. They moved her, but the blueprints are still within the Command Center. Don't look at the power; look at the plans.
  • Voice of Doubt: You are just one man against five corporations. If you detonate this plant, you destroy the evidence and yourself. Is your truth worth that price?

Event 2:

  • Voice of Revelation: They are moving her, and the project, now. The Final Facility—that's the last piece of the puzzle. I have to breach the North Exit and follow Zircon's trail, or I lose everything.

Locations[edit | edit source]

Basement[edit | edit source]

Wet, noisy, and confusing. Where the Blind Shaft emerges.

Wet Notebook:

  • [Illegible text]... only reason Shaft personnel are allowed access is the 'Eclipse Logistics Agreement'. They promised zero oversight on extraction rates. The Nimrod Commander is concerned about corrosion due to Greenwash runoff near the main turbine vents. This entire operation is a disaster waiting to happen.

Enforcer:

  • Halt. Identity unverified. You are in a restricted Nimrod zone, designated 'Project Eclipse.' Authority to engage is absolute. Surrender immediately or be processed.
  • Insolent fool! You've merely delayed the inevitable. Nimrod protocols will contain this breach. You won't take another step.
  • Guard's Radio (Voice from Command): '...Section C, report. We have an unregistered power spike in Turbine Hall 3. Repeat: The containment fields are fluctuating. Command is locking down the North Exit. They don't want the 'asset' disturbed. Do you copy, Patrol Guard?'

Turbine Hall[edit | edit source]

The massive central room where the raw power generation happens, providing loud cover for guards and intense visual/audio tension.

Engineer’s Desktop PC:

  • Active Email Chain (RE: Project Eclipse Power Draw): '...the load increase is unsustainable. Zircon requires maximum output for P-E-03 testing. If we divert any more power from the regional grid, half of Fondent will experience rolling blackouts within 48 hours. I repeat: Zircon authorized the risk'.

Crumpled Schematic:

  • A diagram showing a large energy containment vessel connected to the plant's main power conduit, with notes scribbled beside it: 'Chrome Robo Protocol Adaptation—Stable Energy Sink. Target 01 Ready for transfer'.

Command Center[edit | edit source]

Lead Commander's Desk:

  • Personal Digital Memo (Commander J): 'Extraction was clean. The CEO refused to cooperate, but she served her purpose distracting the TuxeVault security. She's been moved to the Final Facility for permanent isolation. J and team are mobilizing immediately to secure the asset'.

Wall Map:

  • A detailed satellite map of the region. A large red circle is drawn far beyond Route 8, labeled 'Project Eclipse: Final Deployment Site'.
