Where did the name come from? ''coal'' + ''Kodiak bear'' ''calcination'' + ''ours'' (Calcinours)
What is the tuxemon based on? Kodiak Grizzly/Brown Bear + coal, probably a play on how they sound vaguely similar. (Physiologically and physically, the Kodiak bear is very similar to the other brown bear subspecies, with the main difference being size, as Kodiak bears are on average 1.5 to 2 times larger than their cousins; this is due to their tendency to congregate near dense food sources like salmon runs even though bears are normally solitary. While probably not the original author's intent, the ability to set fire to anything including water might be a necessity for a fire bear that wanted to fish...)
